hey guys, i've done some limited searching via search button //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif and have not been able to come up with anything. What exactly does the Q Factor do, and how do you set it, i have 2 amps for my speakers, so nothing is being powered from HU if that makes a diff. I've messed with the settings a little and didn't notice anything (but g/f was in truck so i didn't have it at normal volume, kinda low //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif ) thanks for the help in advance

-edit - i did see this thread, but i don't exactly get what they are saying //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif

Let me try and explain this. On my h/u which I have a pioneer also, the Q factors of 1n, 2n, 1w, and 2w are like this. Start with 1n this is the narrowest frequency curve. In other words when the audio settings are at 1N then just a few frequencies around whatever the center point is set at will be raised. It explains it in the manual, it took me a little while to figure it out but its realy simple when you get it figured out. Basically, the N's represent narrow and the W's represent wide. I know that prolly didnt help any but I just cant do a very good job with just writing it on here.//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/rolleyes.gif.c1fef805e9d1464d377451cd5bc18bfb.gif

actually you did a very good job man, i'm looking at my book right now, all it says is:

"Press /\ or \/ until the desired q factor appears in the display

2n - 1n - 1w - 2w"

lol it would have been nice for them to tell me what it is though //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif

thanks a bunch
