setting my HU

whatever you want. are you running speakers and a sub? also what head unit do you have so we know exactly what filters you have. also, if you are using amps for your speakers and subs you can change those around too. a good starting point is an 80hz high pass on all the speakers and a 80hz low pass on the sub, then you can mess with it to see which settings you like best. but always keep the bass boost off, it only causes clipping which blows subs.

 
As a Excelon owner myself, I run my fronts on thru, but the polks I have, sound so clean there that works for me. I hi pass the rears at 100 hz and lpf at 80 hz. Works for me. I agree 80 hz is a good place to start and tweek from there to your liking.
