Setting gain with DMM

Hey I have a Sundown SAZ-1500D.

I want to set the gain so I am running 1500 watts at 1 ohm. Which I have calculated that I will need approximately 38.7 Volts at one of the two + and - terminals since they are wired in parallel internally in the amp.

On my DMM it only has 750 AC, does this represent how much AC voltage the DMM can handle on that circuit?

Dont worry your not going to come anywhere close to 750 VAC unless you go visit a stepdown transformer and plug in...at which point your DMM will resemble bacon

^^^^ +1 this

750 VAC is A LOT of power if your amp reads anything like that ever run away from it immediately.
