I know the basics of setting gains with a dmm, Im going to be running a KX550.2 to a 15' L7 dual 2 ohm wired in series for 4ohms. The amp is running in bridged mode, its rated at 550rms but the birth sheet said 724rms in bridged mono mode.
1. could i shoot for 700rms with no clipping?
2. So would i get the readings of the bridged terminals?
3. if its bridged 4ohm, is that actually 2ohm?
i was thinking SqRt/--550x4=46.9v
or 700x4=52.9v
but this would change if i use 2ohms for 4ohms bridged.
Ive read all the stickies and tutorials and couldnt find it.
