I have already used the dmm method to set the proper gain on my subwoofer, and now i'm trying to do it on my Zapco.
My front stage is the Zapco Ref 360.4 bridged to 180wx2 into 4ohm Focal K2p Upgraded Edition.
I have read the entire gain setting tutorial (took two hours....) and searched but I can't find a definitive answer to my question. I hate to ask such a mundane question but I'm getting frustrated and I need this finished by tomorrow for a road trip.
First, to measure gain on a bridged amp such as mine, my understanding is that I measure the + from one bridged channel and the - from the other.
However, how do you apply the mathmatical formula to a two channel amp? For my sub it was easy, sqrt of 600x1 for 1 ohm load.
What would the forumula be for my Zapco which is operating bridged to two channels?
Thanks for your time and sorry for asking such a stupid question.
