Set-up Question

I have two alpine 12 type-r's dual 4ohms and I'm running a Kenwood Excelon 1000watt max amp to them is that enough power for them, and if not what are your suggestions for another amp in the same price range.

What power ratings are the subs? Because you can wire the 4 - 4 ohm coils @ 1 ohm if the amp will be stable. Let us know what the power ratings are on the Type R's.

What does the Kenwood cost? The Kenwood probably isn't 1ohm stable. With those subs you could go with a JBL 600.1 or a HiFonics BX1000D.
