Set Off Car Alarms?

What causes car alarms to go offf when you ride by. Is it loudness of 4 10's. Or the the deep loud end of one or two 15's?

the 2 15's will move more air and hit deeper notes causeing more things to vibrate, and set off alarms

i set off 2 car alarms before...in a mall parking lot with......belive it or not my 2 12" MTX 6000s in a sealed box and my jbl600.1!!! they must have had sensitive alarms, but...it hapenned...lol. peace

I was surprised when I set off an alarm in my school parking lot....... listening to Nappy Roots "awnaw" with the Type-R, I just started laughing.............Is it common to set off alarms with a high volume?

yeah, but alot of it has to do with frequency and harmonics, even some of the crappests system could set off alrams if you hit the right notes loud enough

So is it Frequincies(SP?), that sets them off, or vibration, or both?

...Im not the only one who has 'Nappy Roots' (Watermellon, Chicken & Gritz)...I havent listend to it that much, tho...
