serious voltage drop and dimming

even after big 3 upgrade I'm having voltage drops and dimming everytime te bass drops. have 2 brand new red top optima's so I know that's not my problem. someone help.

car is a 1996 chevy caprice system consists of jensen 9411 head unit infinity 4x6 plates in front with 1 pair soundstream tweets all pushed by a kicker kx350.4. rear fill is 4 infinity 6x9's pushed by another kx350.4. 4 diamond audio d9 12's pushed by a RFt30001db. all 1/0 wiring with big 3 and 2 red tops alt is stock.

Thats what i'm thinking... All those amps are pulling a good amount of current. Seems you have a good amount of reserve power, but your alt can't keep up.

youve got a 3000 watt amp + 2 400 watt amps, all under rated, on a stock alt and youre wondering why youre having voltage drops????

he has two red tops....which arent exaclty the best in the world either, I myself have blown up a new redtop before so they're not on my list of good batteries anyways. But really, its probably the alternator being old and just not cutting it anymore. Time for a HO alternators phone call probably.

don't know amps on stock amp but I called my local battery and alterntor stor and they say that the biggest they have for my car is 140, is this gonna work for what I got going. should I have opted and got the recommended 25 farad cap for the t30001bd?

batteries will do a much better job than the caps.
keep looking you should be able to find higher than 140, especially more than local. local places to me said they couldnt even upgrade mine whatsoever.
