Second battery draining first?

if its cranking its not the starter, or battery related. Honestly sounds like you are leaking fuel pressure over night ie. its leaking back into the tank. Try this tom monring turn the key to on but dont crank, turn it off, wait a few seconds, do it again, do it 3 times or so. This will prime the pump and build pressure. Then try to fire it and see if it will start.

odd that it started with the battery install.... maybe you just didnt turn the key all the way over??

Did it just start doin it when you put batt in the back?

Take both out and get them load tested to know for sure

They can read fine but under load be more of a drain than help on electrical

It doesnt click or anything its just like you are regularly turning over the car, except it doesnt turn over in the amount of time it normally does, ill turn the key for 1 second and it is supposed to start, this morning i turned and it didnt start, so i turned it again for 1 sec and it started fine. But it ALWAYS starts on the first turn unless battery is low for some reason.

Battery in back was load tested fine 2 days ago at 650CCA

and the front battery was load tested 2 months ago fine.

turn the key, it turns over- just no spark?

second time fires off? sounds like a fuel pressure problem. turn the key ON and let it sit for about 5-10 seconds. then turn it to start. see if that works. sound like there is no fuel in the rails on the first start.

so on the first time it will just crank and crank but wont start? Try like I said above and prime the pump a couple times, just leaving the key on wont help because when you turn the key the pump only primes for a second, it doesnt keep priming

Ok forget about the key thing.....

I think i found the problem.. I just went out and played maybe 6 min of music at listening volume with car at idle.. I stopped the music and turned off the car and i went inside for 10 min.

Went back out check volts on rear battery. IT shows up as 12.01 and climbing, i held my dmm there for about 2 min and now its at 12.28 and climbing. I go to front battery and its at 12.01 and slowly dropping..

so wtf?

Edit: front batt holding steady at 12.06 now. back still at 12.28..

ok well i just tested voltage again and the front battery is now resting at 12.20 and the back is at 12.30.. This is 30 min after playing music.

i have 1 amp and its grounded to chasis, rear battery is grounded to same spot.

Remote wire is installed correctly.

here is pics..

So i guess it just takes them a while to settle?

Also if just 6 min of music at listening volume at idle causes my rear bat to drop to 11v does that mean that my car is not able to adequately charge both batteries? Its a 130a alt.
