sealed vs. ported???

i've heard ported is what really makes it bump and able to hear from a distance, while sealed is more tight kicks

so almost sealed = sq

ported = spl???

just as a rough comparison

what are your opinions, it will most likely be for dual 12" CVX's

i was just startin it off like 'almost as if a sealed box = sq, as to a ported = spl

it was suposed to be 'sealed', how do you get an almost sealed box?

I actually had a customer come in that had done that. Had an old school Kicker 10" in a sealed enclosure and had drilled two holes in his box w/ a hole bit. He didn't like the way it sounded, so he had covered the holes w/ duct tape.

Very true, nothing beats finding power/ground wires melted to the floorboard of a vehicle though! I hate to, but I have turned people away more than once.
