i made my gf a sealed box for a 10 inch xtant sub. its .71 cube feet with outside measurements of 12.5 x 12.25 x 12 (L D H). with the sub itll be .65 net volume. i was wondering if i could put in a round port and stuff it with polyfil to create a larger sounding box. the12volt website says that i can add a 2 inch round port thats around 10 inches long to create a 32 hz frequency. what do u guys think about this? what would my results be if i do it? or should i just stick with the sealed box? building a bigger box is out of the question...she says she needs more space for her shopping bags...women.
