Sealed to ported?

Hey,

Well I have my subs sealed and its loud but not loud enuf for me. I do want new bigger subs but moneys tight for awhile unfortunately =/ My question is how much louder do you think it would be if I built a new ported box for my current subs in the meanwhile?

If its alot then it would be worthwhile so thought Id ask you ppl and if I wouldn't get alot of diff. then it is best to wait till I buy my new subs but it'll be awhile b4 that //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/frown.gif.a3531fa0534503350665a1e957861287.gif

I have installed several audiobahn subs. And I will only put them in ported enclosures. IMHO that's the only way Audiobahn should be installed. This was my 1st sealed box for other than 8" subs. But I have built ported and bandpass b4. It takes alot more room but if its alot louder than worth it.
