sealed or ported for w6v2???

Sleeper, you didn't really tell us what you wanted the subwoofer system to do..... you sound affraid of sloppy bass but drooling for more output. The W6 will handle a decent vent such as 22 square inches x 17" long in a 2 cubic foot enclosure. That'll certainly assist the 1w/1m deficiency as compared to the sealed system. That is a pretty common 12W6v2 enclosure we use. If you want the system to drop a little lower at the sacrifice of peak output, shove a piece of seat cushion foam that is 1/3 the height of the port....in the port. Make sure the plug is as long as the vent (17") and it will tune the enclosure about 5-7Hz lower. I wouldn't go sticking near Peak Power Handling numbers on the sub in this enclosure though. Make sure you let us know what you chose to do and how it turned out for you.
