sealed or ported for w6v2???

what would be best for this sub w6v2 12"? ive always had a seal box for my subs

i heard its sloppy bass but loud in a ported . sudgestions?

I ran mine sealed, I liked it. But it is supposed to sound good ported as well, if its built to JL's specs.

any compatant box builder can design a good box for the W6V2...doesn't have to be built exactly to JL specs.

Port them 1.5 each and tune to 32 hz. Sounds right. Trust me.

port them and tune em low like 26-30hz... they should sound sweet

i you build ur ported box right theyll sound really good. but a bad box = bad sound

Very true, but if he wanted something simple that he could do himself, thats a good place to start.

In my xp with the 10, I would choose sealed to JL's specs.
