Sealed or Ported for FUBR's?

I have 2 12" FUBR's in a sealed box right now running off a 2000watt Pyle2570amp, but i was told that ported is much louder and you get a lot more bass out of it than sealed, is this true? Also, i know it isn't recommended to put these in a bandpass, but if i did, how would they sound?

Loud, but probably not very good.

it might be okay, but its funny that that box for 2 12s is the about the same size as for my

1 12, you might could find a higher quality(check subzone, subzero, and there are some other ok prefab companies, but subzone make some good quality ones)

if you could build a box yourself, it would sound better and probably be a little cheaper, it is not hard at all to build a box, i built mine and i was pretty happy with the way it turned out and only costed me about 30$ for supplies and a couple hours

My bro's subzone box wasn't too shabby so if ya don't wanna make one I'd agree with checking them out. As for that box...
