sealed or ported for a Honda Civic?

i have a 2004 honda civic...not a hatch...i got 2 12" type r's and right now there in a sealed box...i was told that since i have a closed trunk that i could use that as like another box or somethin like that...so far 2 people have told me that they would perfer a sealed box for my car....i like to listen to rap songs with heavy bass...any suggestions? thanks for the help

I think sealed sounds better, even though you give up some SPL with it. I would just either remove the rear speakers to let the bass into the cabin, or cut a hole in the back deck to let the bass in. JMHO

Bro, go with ported u wont regret it, u can get double ur bass going with ported, thats what ive learned by testing subs in different boxes.
