if you're interested in buying box plans from me, i'd be more than happy. since you plan on building your own box anyways and its a relatively small enclosure, you'll definitely have enough wood to make yourself both a ported and sealed box. after you build that first ported box, building an extra sealed box will be cake for you. this way, you can test which sound best appeals to your tastes.

i have a vid of my 10w3 in a 2cube box tuned at 29hz....and it sounds sweet as hell.......well i do have 600 watts going to it.......but it shows no sign of stress

You would get it at Home Depot or Lowes, its like $20 for a 4x8 sheet.

ahhh i can speak from expirience, i have a 12w3v2 in a custom built ported box, most of the time it sounds okay, it does lack a solid punch. the box is built to JL specs and i'm DYING to go sealed. actually i'm thinking about going sealed with a sound splinter rl-i 8 instead.

no do not use plywood. get MDF. one sheet should be sufficient, although spare MDF has always come in handy for me.

thats what i'm trying to figure out.....he ask me to post my vid and then called me a ****.....i post the vid anyway...maybe he thought i was bullshiiting......or maybe he has **** tendencies?...or .maybe he felt like bothering himself at the time...who knows

yes it was a 13hz thru 19hz test tone..and it showed no sign of stress....everything in my house was shaking..
