Screw holes in enclosures

Okay, heres my problem/question.

I have a dual 8 enclosure that was built by Brian (StarrMountainSound). I have had 3 different sets of 8's in it. Last time I used it, I noticed that one of the screw holes were no longer holding. Screw would go in and out but would spin when trying to tighten. Other than building a new enclosure. What can be done to fix this?

Im lazy so I would just rotate the sub a little. You could fill the hole with putty or glue and see how that works or you could drill through and install t nuts.

You could add another layer of wood and just cut fresh holes, it would change the internal volume a **** hair but nothing noticeable

T nuts or epoxy some nuts over the holes on the inside and use bolts

larger screws., if u use #6 get #8

Just stick a wooden match or toothpick in the hole and break it off flush. That should make the screw grab tight again.

Fill the hole with some wood filler and redrill the hole.

Ok I got some exp in this area. Once you get the screw out, drill the speaker hole 1/4" thru if it's not already, and go to lowes or HD and get a 1/4" dowel....they're like 78 cents here. very cheap. I took some wood glue shove some in the hole, put a few grooves in the dowel so the glue sticks to it and inside the hole and put her in. Then break it off, but leave excess in each end. Later on, cut off the rest flush with enclosure and sand flat. Wah lah...new area to drill a new hole.
