Scion Tc Sub Enclosure help

Should my subs be pointing to the back of the car - or up at the glass in the hatch? This will be a ported enclosure- Any tips on the tuning I should hit?

I have been through 2 boxes so far. None have excelled. Subs up, port up. Subs up, Port back. Im going back to Subs back port back. It always seemed the best with old prefabs I had. If you plan on keeping the back seat and spare tire in, I would go 2 10s. You cant get enough port area with 12s even iff you lose the tire. I finally said screw it and took out the back seat.

Sub back, port back....2 10s or one 12....tuning will be based On a few factors including the subs
