S-10 build need help and advice

Been gone awhile now, time to get back in it. I have a 87 Chevy s10:

. I've been thinking and before i start i need some input, I want to put two aq hdc 18's, the plan is to get someone to cut a whole in the back of the bed leading into the back of the truck. I was thinking of 2 aq 2200's. I need a good place for a ho alt and has anybody got any info of someone doing this, pointers , tips or anything would help b4 i start. And ideas are welcome. thanks

I have built many blow throughs in s10s. I suggest doing 15s or even a trio of 12s. 18s are tad to tall in S10 applications. If I was doing another I would run 3 HDC 12s with 2 AQ2200Ds or even better 2 3500Ds. There are many options for a box.

i agree 100% 15's or 12's would be the way to go or at least thats what i did in my 95 s-10

naw, needs to go smaller... like a 4G63T with a power-glide and then bag it. It will look good and still run 10s or quicker in the 1/4 with the system installed lol
