a single crossover wont handle that kinda power.

He doesn't need alot of power. 150 watts per side will be plenty. When you are working with that many drivers you are working with efficiency over gobs of power. I am willing to bet that with 150 watts per side and 4 component sets running off of that, it will be more than loud enough to keep up.

I wouldn't do it, but if you want to and get the best SQ as well as output then you will need to invest in a couple of good processors like 4x 3sixty.2s. You are going to need independent time delay on each channel to accurately image and reduce cancellation as much as possible. This is how Meade supposedly made his multi- comp setup obtain some decent level of SQ. I however sit in the "that's retarded" camp.

It will sound like utter shit. The different pathlengths for all the drivers will make for a giant mess in the time domain and thus the phasing of the system. One giant haystack for a response and nothing you can do with an EQ to fix it.

Yes and meade uses Time alignment in it via the 3sixty processors. That is why I recomended this guy invest in processing to get it sounding decent.

Does EVERYTIME someone wants a shitload of mids/highs in their car, all the SQ guys freak out and tell him how bad his imaging/time alighment/phasing/parasupermetricultrasonic wave lengths are gonna be? He just wants LOUD *** mids and highs to scream over his loud *** subs. Hes not gonna get that with 1 comp set. Maybe good horns yeah but not just 1 comp set. Do what you wanna build man, youll enjoy much more in the end.
