Run amps in series wiring

Can I run my amps in parallel for the positive side? You know, one 4ga to one amp, then 4ga from the + of that amp to the + of the other amp. Will it work better than a non-fused distro block?

Or should I just run two seperate wires from the inline fuse holder in near the battery?

Also, is it OK to run power wire parallel with RCAs? Would that cause alt. whine?

no. unless you want your amps to divide its voltage up by the number of amps you have. so if u wire three amps in series with 12 volts youll get 4 volts going to each amp.. and uh, how do i put this..? That won't work.

hmmm. darn. wait...I meant parallel, shit. My concept was for parallel wiring. How do I change the title? I'm kinda tired right now and get the two confused to beign with //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/frown.gif.a3531fa0534503350665a1e957861287.gif

Don't ghetto-fy it. Get a fused distribution block and feed the positive lead from there. You could either run the grounds combined or seperate, but if you run them individually, make sure you have good ground continuity to the bare metal frame.

Just use a distro block, they are not that expensive.
I have one, it's 0/1ga, so to fit 4ga in there I will have to solder //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/frown.gif.a3531fa0534503350665a1e957861287.gif That's why I'm hesitant.

As for grounding spots... if I file down the screw on my pass. side seat, that would be a good ground right? It goes right to the chassis?

he said parellel...

he described a parallel setup...

what makes you think he means series???
I had to edit the post. I got teh two confused - it was my bad. The title even says so b/c I can't change it.

Would a parallel between amps work?
