I've never heard 2 12s, but there's a guy in town with a 15" P3. Sounds pretty boss for what it is.

Either way, take the deal. Now, what you're going to do with them really depends on how loud you want to get.

More than anything, it will just help with a quicker sell. Saves the buyer the steps of having to look for a box. Just an idea that I know works for me when dealing with CL

A cheap sub box for 2 12s would be 50. so i would invest 200$ and selling it for 300 on CL but will probably get lowballed to 270-250. I am thinkin about using them or selling. hm... i dont kniw much about the quality of the subs either. how good can they hit lows?

If you read more, you would see I just joined this forum today. Just trying to share my knowledge and help a fellow boomer out. Thanks for the stat update though!

Like I said earlier, use em for a while then sell for what you paid and break even or even trade up.

Ive heard a pair of these on an old 1000bd and they sounded pretty good. They were in a RF factory ported box and the lows sounded pretty good. It's really all about the box though. For the price, you just cant beat it

I'm sure they'd sound decent in a prefab box (if he's lucky, maybe he'll find a $60 one) but these will really knock in a box built to specs. The only thing is, the majority of those are going to cost $80 and up, and that doesn't include shipping. But if he can find a local builder, he can save ~$50-$70 on an enclosure.

Custom box is the only way to go if he plans to keep them and invest in making them sound good. I would only go prefab if you can find a nice condition one for cheap local and bundle it with the subs for a resale or if he flat out doesnt care about making them as loud as they could be.

yeah, will be picking up the subs this upcoming Wednesday. The color of the P3 should be black right? That's their newest model?

I have only heard one but it was pretty good to be honest...
haha that's good to hear. Hopefully they are the newest models, if they are the 2010's then I will probably back out on it
