Nothing wrong with either subs, just saying they are in 2 completley different classes and the general car audio population should stop saying they are comparable with eachother. Dont grow an ulcer ls1pimp, some people just dont like seeing positive reviews or comparisons of RE products, and specifically XXX's around here any more.

When the tables were turned and the Rl-p was the sub getting the positive review (in the original review you mentioned), talk of diffierent enclosure sizes and power recommendations was met with being called a bandwagonner and trying to 'crap' on the guy's review. Now they're the ones with the excuses.

I still don't know how that guy reviewed them and favored the RL-P over the XXX, maybe he was strictly reviewing them for SQ purposes? For pure SQ loudness doesn't matter i guess?

How anyone expected the RL-P to keep up with a XXX is beyond me. There's a 200 dollar price tag difference for a good reason.
