well i set up a box design in another thread, but i decided to totally change my design, its kinda weird, but i think it will still sound good.

h=28

w=50

d=28

22.7 gross, i don't know what it would be NET.

but it wont fit behind my seats so im going to put the box in sideways on the right side of the car behind the passenger seat.

so i can still keep the right seat up so at least three people can ride in my car.

im going to tune it with 4 4" areo's tuned to 37hz, i used the calculator on carstereo.com and it said each one should be 2.09in long does this sound right.

and im going to face them towards the back so it will be on the left side of the box.

use the calculator on psp-inc.com. same as the carstereo one but it adds the flare in there for you. i would not take out a seat. with only 2 12's there is no need for it. tuning to 37 is the highest i'd go for daily driver. i had a box once at 37....

here is a plan that i designed about 6 months. to date i have built 8 of these identical box's. its designed for 2 12'' type R's and it works great. i actually just finished one today and i threw it on the meter. in my explorer and 2 bxi2607d's @ 1 ohm each this box hit a 147.5 legal. and in the kick i was able to make it break 150. for dd its plenty loud. i'd build this box here, maybe tune a little higher, but for dd 2 cubes is perfect. and for spl they actaully like much smaller box's. i'd run2 bxi2006d's @ 1 ohm on each of the subs. in that box they can take the power. i actually had this box with 2 of those amps on it

port is 5'' wide and the corner piece is 3

its going to be for 2 l7 15's.... i've been typing to long lol, i guess i forgot to mention that.

but that setup looks pretty tight i'm selling the R's to a friend, the box there are in now is as follows, h=18, d=19.5,w=36.

is there anyone else that could help me.

what are the actual dimensions? there is no way you get 50 w in there. and whats the height of the back seats. you need about 9 cubes gross for a box with aero ports, if that.

heres a pic of my design: i made it in paint, lol:

the port is 20.5in tall by 6in wide and the length is 5.6in deep, 123sq.inches of port

does that sound right its supposed to be tuned a 35 hz but the length seems short

the box is 15.25ft^3 internal without sub and port displacement all i want to know is if this is a good design for 2 15 l7's
