FYI, that 2200.1 does not do rated power -- it does around 1700 watts, which is why they quit making it.

they ditched zenon b/c they got tired of having the same product as everyone else. They went with another build house. Problem is there is a reason why everyone else sticks with zenon ( as sundownz pointed out )

They make many of their current amps, yes, you are correct.

I do not know where that 2200.1 was made, it's an older model -- one of their first amps on the market. It didn't do rated power so they quit making it.

Anyhow... their new Medellin line is made elsewhere. I'm not sure if they are moving their others lines over as well, I'm sure Steve or one of their reps could answer that for you.

I was just looking for at least 2000watts to power 2 15" BL's. I know they can take more, but i just want someting to move them. Thanks for the opinions

They haven't ditched zenon completely yet all the amps are zenon made but the Medellin line.

But im pretty sure Steve wants to try and move away from zenon and try something alternate..

The Medellin line will be rated at 10.8v and are severely underrated.

The 2200.1 was discontinued right away i personally owned two of them and looked into something else

They are not strap able which was the biggest downfall IMO

I was always weary of that particular model. Any amp that claims 2200rms and has only 3 40 amp fuses is a dead give away.
