Thats a pretty good budget system if you stick to one sub lone config. You sure you dont want to go with a ported box for more spl?

I'd say so. Get two 4-ohm CVR's and wire them down to 2 ohms. The Profile amp you gave us a link to should handle them both fine then.

if you want to run it at 2 ohm, you need two DVC 2 ohm CVR's, if im not mistaken, CVRs only come in DVC and not SVC.

Yeah, I thought about that before I went to sleep last night. lol... oops. Either way, I don't *think* the 2 ohm CVR's are any more expensive, so he should be fine doing exactly as you said.

I decided I'm going to buy the 2 CVR's from either crutchfield/soundelectronix and sell one of them (I may end up keeping both though haha). I am also going to hand build a ported box. And I like the profile AP1000/AP2000.. so I'll probably get one of those.

Be sure to get the Dual 4 Ohm version if you are going to run the AP2000. 1 for each channel at 2 ohms.
