Reset Gain and turned off Bass Boost......

i have a pioneer head unit and i use the Super Bass EQ and you don't even need bass boost on the amp on for it to sound bassy and deep since todays brand head units, the reputable brands are built for EQ these days.

are you referring to bass boost on the head unit or the amplifer?

On the amp. I listened to "London Bridge" by Fergie with my old settings......Bass EQ on my amp at +6dbs. The song sounded pretty good and had nice low end....it actually sounded OK until I turned *OFF* the bass EQ totally and bumped up my gain a bit. The song sounded much different......much more impact and depth, and didnt have that muddy rumbling sound. I had no idea how much difference turning that crap off would be.
