Recone type mattering

if i were to recone a 9515 with an Fi kit rather that a DD kit, would that effect the preformance of the sub?

why do that to a DD, fi is good and all but DD's are SPL woofers and that just wouldn't be right

on top of the fact that you cant jus stick any recone on any motor.

what would make a person think that a recone from a different company using all different parts NOT make a difference in performance?

and FYI, pre-06 RE practically is FI

lll juss use a fi cone with a DD dust cap.

i'm not sure but if i had DD's i would stay DD.

FI makes a killer spl sub but DD is the sh!t for SPL

ok then. arent their recone like 300 bones though?
