Recone door speakers?

Alrighty, i have a set of diamond audio hex s600. Tinsel leads just went out on one...

No coils rub, surrounds good. Somewhere along thr underside of spiders... I love how they sound

But dont have the 250 to buy a new whole set,

Can a recone be in order? Yes the specs can chsnge i know. But the 150 rms capabilities are great and

baskets are nicely constructed. Screw terminals too..

Going to be cheaper just to buy a new set. I dnt know if you could even find someone willing to do such a thing and if you did they would not give you any form of warranty. So if you hook them up send 1 watt to them and the spiders rip oh well you are SOL. Its money down the drain.

screw terminals? Wow, nice. I know you could find recones for morel tweets and mids. I'm sure they have some for diamond. Might be harder to recone on such a smaller scale though.

Yeah man... Os 1999 speakers... I could probably see if an 8" basket could even fit and do that as a mid.

I think its possible... Ill try contacting da i guess.

yeah their 6.5" woofers... i feel like it cant be impossible.. ill seee if i can find a replacement set on the cheap,

but i just dont want to simply throw out the old ones..

hey do these possibly have a dust cap? if so you can remove that unsolder the old leads and put in new ones

its like aluminum, where as the cone is some form of kevlar,

i could probably puncture and pull it.

i mean theres no hurt it damaging a hurt speaker.

You might want to email/call these guys and see what they can do for you: Fix My Speaker - Custom Subwoofer Rebuilds, Repairs, and Supplies!

It says they specialize in subwoofers, but after 30 years in business I suspect they fix regular speakers also.
