Recommendation for 3" speaker pls

I want to replace the 3" speakers in the fairing on my bike. Whats the best for the bucks? Ideally, they'll be ok for outdoor use, but, I'll keep them covered when not in use if I have to.

3" or 3.5"

3" I'd go with a cone midrange from PE. They may have some suitable for outdoor use.

They are a WONDERFUL company that caters to the DIY home audio market amongst other things, and have an extensive variety of drivers (speakers for the layman) available at all pricepoints.

although the options seem pretty slim for a 3" speaker. Maybe a 3 1/2" would fit?

i paid $20 for a couple 3 inch extended range tangs from PE and they sound great.. but they have to be in the right box, otherwise they dont sound so good, but thats true with almost any speaker
