Recommend me a System

I would like to get:

Head Unit

Sub

Speakers

Amp (maybe)

For less than $500 if that is possible

I would rather have clear crisp sound then super loud boom.

I was looking at this HU

well there would be a huge diff between those subs. The MA dont produce nearly the SQ of the ID. The ID would be a great choice in subs i think and I love pioneer HU i have installed and listened to many and have never had a problem with any. Pioneer HU and ID sub would be great.

the ID would have a much "clearer, crisper" sound as you said. The two MA subs MAYBE might be a little bit louder. They will sound awful compared to the ID, tho.

for under $500 I don't know if you will be able to find all the components you are looking for an still achieve good sound. You may have to expand your budget a bit. Most guys on here are spending over a G just on bass.
