Recieved SUB and AMP today

Is a Reconditiond sub any good.. I thought it would be basically the same as new..

Sub: Kicker CVT12 (Shallow Mount), 400 Continuous Power Watts

AMP: Kicker 400.1 (Reconditioned)..

My only concern was i opend up the box and there was a paper that said, maximum output power = 461w, but on the website it should be way higher and 400continuous @ 2ohm..

so yeh is that anything to worry about?

the 461 is the tested continuous power that the amp can produce...this highly inflated "max" rating that you're talking about doesn't matter, it's simple a marketing gimmick.

yea you wanna buy amps for continous power anyway. Like stated above watts are a selling gimmick. It might say 2000watts but only actually produce half that, which would be 1000rms. Read the fine print
