Is your battery secured down? Just a theory. If the batt was not secure, maybe when you hit the bump, It caused the battery to "jump" out of place and the + terminal to ground out. Just a thought.

battery is secured. and the bump i hit was not big at all. it was seriously like hiting a minor pothole going 20 mph

NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!! It freakin happened again!!!!!!! WTF? something is seriously wrong here. This time i wasnt even driving. i was sitting in a parking lot. my HU just shut off for a sec, then came back on. and of course, natural instinct told me to check to see if bass was gone. and its gone. blew another freakin fuse.

i dont get this. its like...the second i get my 1000/1, i get problems. this is the same exact wiring i used on my kx1200.1. i never even touched the wiring for that matter, and now im having a problem...?

i was thinking, maybe the wire is shorting out on my firewall where its ran though (havent checked yet). but, if thats the case, y is my HU shutting off. thats seems totally unrelated to my amps power wire. and if its any other electrical problem, why isnt my 300/4's fuse blowing.

SOME1 PLEASE HELP ME!!!

maybe it got wet it seems to me when fuses get moisture they blow very easily but also check your ground because if you have a bad ground you could be gettin surges when your car hits a bump becuase loose ground....

ok, i checked it and found nothing. WTF?

i went to a local shop and they said that older model 1000/1 amps have a problem where the + and ground fuse together inside the amp. he said that when the amp heats up, something expands and makes the + ground out. any1 know anything about this? how can i check to see if thats the problem?

also, the local shop and CC didnt have a 100amp fuse, will 120amp be fine?

thats the unterstatement of the century. what is this now 4 different systems 7 issues in the last 3 months? Time to give up on audio man.
