haha, actually i have another one with the same concept. Kick to groin, but i've posted it already and it wouldn't let me post it again. I'll make some more, but i never get chances to use them.

I read this whole thread, and I can't even call it an 'arguement', because marauder never seemed to even go offcourse with the topic at hand. People with this attitude make this a great forum.//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif
thanks man //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif i appreciate that i do hate being wrong but i hate being wrong and not admiting it when proven wrong. like being a sore loser and whining and crying about it. LOL yeah i think we had a debate and kept it peaceful thrashed a lot of information and walked away learning something. i'd say that all in all it's been a very productive experience. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif my hats off to everone involved even the OWNED posters. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif i think you guys have earned it LOL so post away.

LOL ok man //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif if it's one thing that i have an abundance of it's confidence //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif. my wife on the other hand makes me feel stupid. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/frown.gif.a3531fa0534503350665a1e957861287.gif//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif she gathered 2 4 year degrees one in electronic engineering and one in computer programing in 3 years and has a 4.0 average in both. she reads books cover to cover and can close it and quote it word for word. LOL if she would have been home i could and would have asked her about this before hand. but since she's out on a business trip i'll have to wait for her return to quiz her about it. i'll bet $100 that she'll tell me the answer in less than 5 seconds. the classes in electronics we took together she went for about 2 months and then tested out in them. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/frown.gif.a3531fa0534503350665a1e957861287.gif so LOL it's not to often we get into technical debates for then sometimes get heated.

Debates rock... I was in debate for a long time...

Owned pics were not called for though - your assumptions were correct, based upon entry level AC fundamentals - most of those books don't start getting into even and odd order harmonics and what happens with them - I on the other hand have to use it every day, I'm a maintenance engineer for a very large production facility that encounters problems with it due to high frequency generators in the plant. Well.. That, and 225HP worth of AC drive motors that start up at random intervals with no soft start controls due to the integral design...

i was on the debate team in high school and loved it //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif that's how me and my wife met we were on the team together. once i got into college i didn't have time to continue and i still mis it today. i'm glad to have finally brought this to an end. i've been looking into some of my books and can't seem to find much information on it that was a well written as what you have posted. thanks for teaching me something that i didn't know i've printed out that info and placed it into my pile of technical reports and old college notes. the only thing i do with ac is gravity impact rappers and repper controlers on precipitators. and the mega huge capacitor that the precipitator is in itself. man you talkin about one big mother of a potential there. if i were to guess the farad rating of a big precip i'd have to say about 60000 farads. LOL hook that to your system //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif course that's at about 65,000 volts so you'd need to regulate it rather well.

anyway i enjoyed the debate and look forward to learning more as i explore the world of audio sound systems. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif now if i can just get a good amp or 2 to drive my subs.....LOL

thanks
