hmm u should have slap that sub in a 6th order bandpass with 150 square inches of total port area...sh would be a bass head fo sho...but then again trunk room would have been eaten up...lol

Going in an explorer sport, an shes said a couple times that she doesnt mind taking up the whole cargo area.lol. I can always make a new box in a few months. Will have to think bout that one.

Did a little searching on how im going to paint it an have a question.

In between coats of paint do I sand like i would with a primer/clear? If so what grit should i go with?

These are the steps Im going to do for painting:

1. 3-5 coats of high build up primer/sealer

- 400 grit to even it out

- 600 grit to even out the 400

2. 5-7 coats of color

3. 5-7 coats of clear

-wet sand with 2000 grit

- apply liquid wax

Any opinions are more than welcomed.

UPDATE:

Over the last week or so Ive gotten some more equipment. Jus need the REcomps an ill have it all.

Heres the USAmps xt800.2 that will power the comps.

Both amps look great together

15ft of 1/0 KNU KLM power wire.

15ft 1/0 KLM, 10ft 4ga. KLM, KNU RCAs, an KNU Konfused Distro block

Finished up the box today. Went a lil different than i thought. Instead of high gloss balck an pink, I went with black an pink fleckstone. An i must say it came out way better than I thought an am really pleased with the box turned out. First time using fleckstone an it defineatly wont be the last, love that shit.
