DC's amps are relatively inexpensive. I don't know anyone who runs them, though. I'm not even 100% sure you can buy them in the United States. I'm sure Rusty would be happy to tell you one way or the other.

The DC3000.1 is rated for 3,000 watts rms @ 1 ohm, and it's WAY less than $1,000. Several hundred dollars less, actually...

Well again, I'm not looking to compete...

This is just for my 2nd vehicle thats just to have fun with... It mostly stays in the garage and I only break it out when its nice and I want to go to a cruise, sunday drives, etc.... I used to show it alot, but I lost interest and ripped out the system to re-do it, partialy re-did it and ripped it out again...

While looking for the thread with the video, I stumbled upon the original one that had edited the video out and deleted it from youtube. Although I may know someone who saved a copy.

2 audiopipe AP30001D's would give you 1500 each on the subs I sell re audio....but the us amps I have not looked at after the sold...I know some guys doing good with them....just to much $ for what you get...and you put 4000 in the modle # and its 1500 rms @ 1 ohm?

I don't understand your statements...

So two amps, two subs per amp....

looking at Audiopipe's website or online prochure

The amp looked to be rated at

4 Ohm - 1000 Watts

2 Ohm - 2000 Watts

1 Ohm - 3000 Watts

Looking at their diagrams, the bottom pic, it looks like you could wire both 2 ohm voice coils of one sub to each output and present the amp with a 1 Ohm load per side = the 1500watts per sub, you mentioned... Or am I off the ranch on that...
