Re adjust gain or not?

i just went from a kenwood HU to a jensen vm9510 in das dvd/mp3/cd player, but when i turn it up my system doesnt sound as loud as it used to with the kenwood, so does that mean i gotta re adjust my gain?

i have 2 12" L7's and a kx1200.1

well, most likely there is a difference in the RCA output of that jensen.. so adjust gain accordingly.

which kenwood did you have?

Adjust the gains. The point is to match it with the input voltage from the HU and since all HU's are different, gain settings will be different.

Always readjust your gains when switching source units.
