RCA'S and equalizer

I am running 2 amps, one Xplod XM-2252HX and a 300 watt jensen for my infinity 3-way 6x9's, I was wondering If I should run seperate RCA'S from the equalizer to the jensen and the sony, or if i should just run them from the equalizer to the sony then from the sony to the jensen? confusing hu? I have a clarion PEQ-460 equalizer, and I want the best sound i can get from the 6x9's without interfering with the bass from the 2 12's. My thoughts ere that running 2 seperate RCA's will give me more flexability in adjusting the sound instead of 1 main RCA to adjust both amps!

Thanks,

Joey G
