RC car crew: rustler issues

Fixed it finally. The issue was that the output yokes (plastic) when I first installed the engine were worn, and by the time I replaced them with the CVD metal ones, the tires were too bare. Now, however, the car will not let me get it up to half throttle before the tires break loose. Oh well, at least the fun can finally begin //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif

I bought this car one week after it came out with the 2.5 engine, which was about four years ago. So no, many middle schoolers don't have that kind of money.

I quit Rcing two years ago. But when i did it alot, my friends Schumacher truck had the same problem, it shun out and lifted its front high with the .26 engine.

We remedied this by strapping his rechargable Rx batt in between the front shock tower and the bumper poles. Try it out.

anyways I still have my second duratrax street force gp stored with afterrun engine oil that i would sell. Hasnt been used for 2 years and at most had half a gallon, though prob had a quarter gallon of use only. Give me some offers guys got the radio and everything.

EDIT nevermind seems like you found a better way at the problem without ****ing with the rustlers handling lol

Yep. The battery stock goes behind the rear shock tower as seen in this pic:

That black box holds in the batteries and the input for the EZ start. That car is also all stock, which shows you just how much money I've put into mine //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/omg.gif.05aa02c3095d6ce9338996654eca0863.gif

I used to have a rustler with a .15 ported and polished. Ran about 10 gallons through it and it was still running liek brand new. Thing was a solid performer, but the gs storm .21 buggy i had was 10x more reliable and faster. the 3.3 would rail though.

Indeed. I bored out my Pro .15 from my T-maxx and it ran like a .18 Sirio. Only lasted for three gallons, as it was already at 5 gallons at stock displacement.

yo pv seems like your currently in the rc scene good, any new good 1/10 tourings out?
//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/laugh.gif.48439b2acf2cfca21620f01e7f77d1e4.gif You'd be dead wrong. Believe it or not, I know literally nothing about the current touring cars. I own a t-maxx, electric 4-tec, this rustler, and an original RS4. The last time I saw anything new come out was the release of the TC4, which I had to build since I worked at a hobby shop. I quit soon thereafter, and for that two year or so stretch, I didn't add too much to my cars, so they really just collected dust until a few months ago that I decided to get the frat boy of the family back into working condition. The other cars (the traxxas ones obviously) are just used for parts for this guy.
