OP
Its called midbass.Kick in the chest bass, thats what im talkin about. What would you guys call that?
Cone material does play a role in the driver's design well beyond the aesthetics many people only see them as, but cone material certainly does not have the significance to over all performance that you suggest it does. Its much like saying "all yellow cars are the fastest, every yellow car Ive ever seen race, won." It suggests you haven't seen very many races yet.Maybe I'm off topic a bit, but W7's don't hit that hard IMO. They hit ok, but a DD sub will have more impact. Most paper cone subs will hit harder. I've never heard a poly, titanium, or aluminum cone sub have more impact than a paper cone.
I'm just trying to help the OP. I sick of people trying to make a W7 perform like a SPL machine. I've seen too many races, street beat and db drag. We will see at Heat Wave how hard JL hits. All the paper cones and maybe some carbon fiber will have the highest numbers overall. If there is a better material for high impact, please tell me what it is since you know more than me? Why does FI, RE, DD, Sundown, IA and DC use this material?Cone material does play a role in the driver's design well beyond the aesthetics many people only see them as, but cone material certainly does not have the significance to over all performance that you suggest it does.
