China Tariffs
(Last Updated March 6, 2025) Additional duties on products of China and Hong Kong pursuant to the International Emergency Economic Powers Act (IEEPA): For products of China and Hong Kong entered on or after March 4, 2025, heading 9903.01.24 provides for an
additional 20 percent ad valorem tariff and applies in addition to all other applicable duties, taxes, fees, exactions, and charges, including those of headings1 under section 301 of the Trade Act of 1974 (19 U.S.C. 2411), as presented below.
For more information, please see U.S. note 2(u) to subchapter III of chapter 99. These additional duties apply to products of China and Hong Kong classified in all tariff lines of HTS chapters 01‐97, other than products classified under headings 9903.01.21, 9903.01.22, and 9903.01.23, and other than products for personal use included in accompanied baggage of persons arriving in the United States.

For products of China and Hong Kong entered on or after February 5, 2025, and prior to March 4, 2025, heading 9903.01.20 provided for an additional 10 percent ad valorem tariff (i.e., the additional duties of heading 9903.01.20 do not apply to products entered on or after March 4, 2025).
