the Amps do different amounts of power and in the same box, getting different amounts of power, you'll do more harm than good.

Well that's easy enough to get. Is it that hard making a box really? I guess getting the stats right would be the hard part huh.

LOL, it's crazy because in this thread I'm talking basics like ohms n stuff....another thread I'm talking to a guy about 2 way front stage vs 3way fronts and phasing n crap....and atop it all im texting a friend who wants to know about resonances and reflections lol I just wanna go to bed! Lol

Exactly. It's not really hard if you're good with your hands.

Pro rabbit can also send u a DIY kit which includes wood already cut for u and u just piece it together.

Not an insult. He is one of the few who will help everybody. A lot of members feel like it's beneath them to answer noob questions.

We can design you a box and give you all the info you need. All you would have to do is cut the wood, glue it and screw it together. Then paint or carpet it.

Would I need to put layers of the MDF or just a thick layer? I saw they had several layers on the pro box's.

One layer of mdf is fine. With the right box, you should out bump your lady friend.

Or possibly make a thread in the enclosure design section if u want quick dims n specs. Something tells me most ppl will just tell u to get better subs though.
