1. I have a Kicker KX700.5 with a remote control for the bass (sub?). Does this work as a gainer, or a Bass booster (dB)?

2. Do you recommend to use the Bass booster (dB), or do you recommend to not use this too much. How much do you have your bass booster (dB) at?

3. I have a sub, 2x12". I have set the crossover at 100hertz. Should I go below, or let it be. I want precise bass.

Thanks //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/thumbsupwink.gif.129404938effda6ad9cca39e7f4b58a3.gif

I honestly have no idea //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

Don't use it much. Set your gain properly and either leave the bass boost @ 0, or only add a few db at most (and turn your gain back some).

100hz seems pretty high....the sound starts becoming directional at that point. IMHO it's best to xover below ~80hz, but if you don't have very strong interior speakers than you may need to compensate by having a higher xover point.

Basically, just set it to where it sounds best with the rest of the stereo.

http://www.kicker.com . took me about two minutes to find your answer //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif

for the other questions, squeak pretty much covered it. i would disconnect the remote gain knob, set your gain properly and you can use the HU to adjust if need be.
