questions on Alping type r subs

hey guys im getting 2 12 inch alping type r subs but dont know which ones to get. My amps runs 1500watts at 2 ohms and dont know which subs i should get. I dont know if i should get the swr1221d or the swr1241d. They r both dual voice coal and the only difference between them is that the swr 1221d runs at (2ohm+2ohm) and the swr1241d runs at (4ohm+4ohm). I need to know which ones i could run bridged on a mona amp at 2ohms. thanx alot guys.... Oh and by the way if i could get a new rockford fosgate 1500bd for 500 bucks should i go for it?

The swr1221d's are what you want. You can wire them up to 2 ohms mono. When you buy the subs they come with a nice wiring diagram.

1500 watts is too much for type R's. i would get 3 type R's with that much power.

You could always go for 4 of the 1241's ^^

That'd kick some serious *** with that BD1500 and they could be wired up to meet the 2 ohm mono load.

300 rms. x 5 = 1500 watts (@ 2ohms)
