questions on a re se psi recone kit

Ok so i just got my 2 new drop in recone kits from PSI for my se's . And i have to say i was im pressed with all the little touches that David puts in to his subs. Any way the question i have is do they need any break-in time after completing the sub? Or can i just throw them in a box and start pounding on them. The amp i will have pushing them is a sound stream pxc2000d im going to run it at 1 ohm so they should see right around 2000w. the other question is what size shims should i use for the coil gap ? Its a 4 layer flat wound 3 inch coil.

let the clue cure a full 24hrs before playing them. shim with index cards, tight and evenly.

no break in time needed thats only when multi spider packs...
