As of tomorrow ( Oct. 20,2010 ), I'm putting:

(6) 12" Hifonics HFD4s

(1) Autotek AT-2000.1

Custom Ported Enclosure

... In my 1999 Nissan Sentra GXE ( 4-dr )

My question(s):

1) How do you think it will sound...

2) Do you think it's " overkill "....

3) Etc.....

I will be posting videos and pictures of the entire build & all items...

... I'm just lookin' for advice ( good & bad ), suggestions, etc...

THANK YOU!

I've been selling those Hifonics subs... And have installed them in PLENTY vehicles around here... And they actually sound GREAT! ... I really wasn't intending on running them, but I know a guy that owns a warehouse. He gave them to me for $140 for all 6 - and free shipping to me - with a 3-year warranty. So I really couldn't say NO!

... But other than that... How do you think they are goin' to sound? Alot of air movement? Rattling I know is gonna happen ( And I have 2 layers of Dynamat molded from top to bottom in my car ).

I started to do 8 sealed...

.. This is gonna be a weekend car/business promotion vehicle.

So it's always great to do something over the edge... But it still has to sound good & be bigger and better than the rest to draw the attention towards yourself.

Yes, complete overkill.

Just because something's cheap doesn't mean you have to use it. What kind of business is this promoting? How does this promote it? What's the message you're sending?

Can't complain about 140$.. I would probably take them for that much.

Overkill? Not at all lol.. However maybe look into a different amp? You're going to be wanting 1800 watts I'm ssuming, probably won't get that with a cheap amp.

It's gonna be my shop car... I'ma put 24s on it eventually - ( Yes 24s on a Nissan Sentra )

... The message - You don't have to go Expensive to sound great!

It's promoting by Expression & Amazement! - " D*mn, that's unreal - (6) 12s in this small car... " all this equipment, and still able to use ALL seats...

And I have an MA Audio Sub there because I just RECENTLY ( Like last night ) altered my signature. My Honda is sponsered my MA Audio.... - But that's besides the point... I just haven't taken a picture of my subs & enclosure in my trunk yet...

My suggestion would be the trial and error method ... you build it, demo, and give us a review of the setup.

If it works the way you want, then Awesome, if not, tear it down and start over ...

I would suggest alot more concentration on the electrical system (several batteries) and possibly more amp power.

A demo vehicle needs alot of headroom and reserve power.

I'd suggest in an Astron power supply (or 2) for demos too.

These are just my suggestions ... Best of luck with your setup. and oh yea ... lots of pics / vids for the forums !!!
