Questions about Pioneer 6800ub and kenwood x891

Anyone that has used these with a flash drive, how is the searching? how does it search through the folders? does it show a small list or just one folder or song at a time? When I had an 880 with an Ipod it would show 3 folders or songs at a time. I cant test any of these around here. Also how long is the load time and does the deck remember where you were after you shut off the car?
