questions about orion 2500d amp?

and there are far less effecient amps out there... just do research and buy what ya like, thats how i think about it anyways... Those 2500d's are sexy mofo's, and bad to the bone IMO

how do you know that they are rated at 14.4for the 1 ohm rating????

ive got mines ran at .5 ohm daily and it loves it barelly even gets warm. Just make sure to have a upgraded electrical system. Big 3, 0/1 or 0/2 gauge wire throughout, a second battery in the rear and a H.O. alternator

i should throw my setup now on 16v....ish would wang hard..156+ easily.

but the orion @ .5 ohm sucks a whole lotta current. so if you have a stock battery/alternator i wouldn't do it until you upgrade the electrical first of all....i'm running twooooooo 2500D's @ .5 ohm on a 240amp alt and 2 kinetik 2400's, and i get a slight slight dim...but with 1 2500D @ .5 ohm on that elecrtical i had no dimming. so upgrade your electrical!

I don't think the Orion will like that.

i think it should work. I know a guy who ran 2 1000w crossfire amps off a stock alt from a civic and an optima yellow top pushin a DD 9515. And running the 0 awg to a distro and 4 awg to the amp would be fine. I am planning on doing that with my Orion 2500d, unless i decide to sell it within the next few days

I ran 1 2500d off of stock 83alt and the tiny stock batt at 1ohm nominal and took it like a champ.
