Questions about Head Units

I need to get a new receiver for my car and had some questions about them. Now, as I understand it, an HD ready receiver can't get HD radio out of the box but an hd radio tuner built in can. How much are tuners separately? And I was looking at this radio -> http://www.crutchfield.com/S-pszTgbDZ1Kz/cgi-bin/ProdView.asp?g=300&I=257KDHDR1 Does that do HD2 radio too? And if not how do I know a radio does do HD2?

And I was looking at the sony's because of the front aux port until i found out about the hd ready deal. If there's an aux in the back, can I run a cord from the back and have it come up through a crevice in the car so I can hook an ipod through it?

Oh and I'm only going to be using the receiver until about summer 2008 so do you think it would be better to get an hd ready receiver now and buy a tuner when i start reusing my car after awhile.

I would never put anything in my car that was made by Sony.

I'm sorry I can't answer the HD2 thing, but I strongly second the NO SONY comment. I had a Sony HU that died a very early death (like every piece of Sony crap I've owned), and they would not honor their own warranty!
